    Hi, I’ve just bought a reposessed house (so no manuals) which has an IKEA/whirelpool oven fitted in the kitchen.

    I’ve collected various numbers from inside the door, but i’m not sure which ones are relevant:
    854147815010
    140220016238
    OBI 116S

    It has four control knobs, none of which have any markings left, they have all worn off.

    How can I find out what each button does and replace the markings?

    I contacted IKEA, who sais that they could only help with current ovens.
    and whirlpool customer support sent me back to ikea.

    I would like to be able to use the oven safely, but I will need to know what each knob does first,

    Please help.

    It looks as if it’s a fair age and there’s no instructions available. But, from looking at the parts diagram I think that, from right to left, you have…

    Function switch/changeover
    Oven thermostat
    Grill regulator
    Minute minder/clock thingy

    The only way to get the decals back (they’ll have been worn away by cleaning) is to replace the control panel, which costs the best part of £100!

    Thanks kwatt for your input – I would be greatful if you could tell me where I might find a parts diagram for it.

    I have now managed to find a product description sheet with a diagram that matches the layout.

    it lists from left to right:
    Oven Programmer (timmer)
    Variable Grill selector knob
    Oven Thermostat knob
    Oven Functions selector knob

    If I could find out:
    – what length of time is programmable
    – how many grill settings there are
    – what range of temperatures are possible
    – what functions there are and what order they appear on the dial in

    then i might be able to put some markings on myself – does anyone have access to one of these? if so could you take a picture of the facia?

    otherwise if I did need to replace the facia where would I get one?

    Hi,
    No-one has stock of that panel, it’s a special order only part as it’s only used on that one model so far as I can see. We can order it but it’s a non-cancelable item. 😕

    I’ve no clue what the functions of each switch are, a parts diagram is just a line drawing of the outlines of the machine, no more info on function. Scroll down a bit on this page and you’ll see the sort of thing I mean.

    No instruction manual is listed.
