ModeratorJust had this chap on the phone, ZWF10070WI…not to sure about that model number.
He says the machine starts OK then stops partway with the pause button flashing. If he presses pause it starts again but then does the same a few minutes later. 😕
Not seen one of these before, will go armed with TDS but just wondered if there were any known causes of this fault.
Jim.

I’ll take that as a ‘don’t know’ then. 😀

Went to ZWF1432S this morning reputed to be stopping at various points in cycle. Pause may have been flashing but they didn’t mention it.
They didn’t mention either that it wasn’t draining :rolls: . Was elastic band firmly wrapped round impellor (Askoll). It took a pin to tease the last of it out. Was wedged in right against the rotor bearing.

My first thing to check would be the diagnostic, any fault code usually gives a good idea of the fault.

Call was booked for between 1.00pm & 3.00pm today. no one in and the mobile number I had was switched off when I called at 1.55pm 👿
It funny how when they ring back they say, ” oh, I only just missed you, I got home at 2,00pm” :rolls:

yet if you were held up and “only” just miss them by even half an hour, by the time u get back to your shop its a case of “you obviously dont need the business, so theres not much point in coming now as ive got someone else coming out now”
or u get a call at 3.05 asking where you were because you were supposed to be at their house at 3. when they were booked into a 3-5 slot… “oh but i thought you were going to be here from 3 until 5”
customers can be really infuriating

I would charge them extra next time.
Timewasters.

Sorted yesterday morning, made him get up at 7.30 am to let me in. 🙂
It was a shoulder pad from a coat or similar stuck in the eco ball chamber.
