    Hello all

I hope someone can provide some qualified knowledge on this!

Our 5- or 6-year old Zanussi doesn’t fill with water (again). I know the inlet and waste pipes are connected and aren’t pinched, there’s power to the machine and the filters are all clean but all we get is the flashing code 1 alert indicating no water.

This is getting to be a regular occurence. I carried out the “pull out, tip back, drain and mop up” routine a few days ago to clear the fault but we’re back to square one today.

Have I missed something basic or do I need to get a copy of Which? 😥

Thanks in advance for any help or suggestions!

Blimey, that’s superb – thank you very much for the pointer. It would seem that a replacement unit would be better than cleaning the old one out – is it a fairly straightforward job to do?

    Cheers

IWMS for you appliance is HERE.

It’s a screwdriver and patience job really – once you get the lid and side panel off, it’s pretty obvious. Care needs to be taken when unscrewing the vent into the side of the tub.

    Power off first, of course.

    Hi,

I’ve got the same problem. I’ve taken the side of the dishwasher off and indeed the IWMS if full of crap. If I take it off, is there a way to flush it out? I’ve tried to remove it but I’m having trouble with the vent; what’s the best way to remove it?
There was mention of a couple of pipes feeding the IWMS. What’s the best way to get access to them?

    many thanks,
    shortstuff.
