hi went to a call today the machine tries to ramp up to fast spin then drops back to distibute speed it does this 3 times then stops,even when empty,any ideas regards tedd

This machine uses the Ako VS81 timer / module control unit. If the motor is shorting, the timer will try 3 times to spin the load after distribute and then move the timer to ‘Off’. Fault will probably be:- Worn out brushes; shorting armature; loose or detached tacho magnet or finally timer.
