Hi I have a TEKA UN-DW655FI dishwasher which of course is just out of warranty! The unit has power but on the control panel the lights on the left are flashing when I select a programme and when I shut the door the cycle does not start and the machine starts beeping after about 30 seconds. I have switched the power of at the mains for 10 minutes to see if it would reset but this has not worked – any suggestions would be gratefully received.

    Many thanks

Hello, I think I have the same problem. Did you find out what was wrong with it? Thanks H

The first four from the left of the control panel are are flashing, ‘heavy duty, normal wash, light wash, glassware’. If you know what this means, I would be really grateful.

The service team won’t tell me over the phone what this error means and want to charge me £140 to come out, which I’m only willing to do if it’s something big that needs fixing.

    Thanks very much.

It’s a Haier-built Chinese machine. The lights indicate that the tray under the machine is full of water and it is now in flood protection mode.

Drag it out, power off, towels down and tip to one side to drain the undertray. System should re-set. If you get a repetition, find the leak…..
