    Has any body got the instructions for removing the ceramic hob on a 49723. Got to replace one of the ceramic elements.

    Not usually too difficult. You normally have to remove both side panels to access a couple of screws at the front of the hob assembly, also some screws at the back and then the whole hob lifts enough to allow you to unplug the connector block.

    Flip it over and the rest is straightforward. Be sure to transfer the small bracket from the old ring to the new one.

    Cheers Jim. rear panel removed found the screws attaching it. front screws out lifted hob worked from underneath. Easy.
