Hi guys going to a whirlpool oven in the morning dont have the model as the customer was in her car when she rang me . Its overheating so Im thinking the thermostat. I havent been to one of these before so was just wondering where the stat was located its about four years old.

50/50 shot here – if it’s a cheapie, it’s got a gas capillary stat, the others use pcbs and high temperature thermistor sensors.
No straight answer I’m afraid.
