I have a VHD8122-80 that im looking at, originally i had 3 flashes(drain time out) but with further testing i keep getting 16 flashes (unknown).
Does anyone know if the 16 flashes are a seperate fault code or does the machine give the 16 flashes to protect itself from another fault ie the original 3 flashes.I have checked the wiring, replaced drain pump, pressure switch and module but this does not cure the problem. Have also checked for any blockages in pipes, filter and air chamber but still have this drain time out problem.
Any assistance with this would be appreciated.

ERROR 16 Water Heating Element is short circuited or defective electrical insulation , very common fault on these m/cs

it’s the heater, mega it on both legs. Had one other week, 3 lights then random/ total lack of control.

Having a problem with another one of these models. Just keeps pumping out as soon as i select a program (without pressing start). If i turn selector to off then back to a program then i sometimes get 4 flash error code, have done all the checks and replacements for error 4. Any ideas out there?
