    hi.
    american style 3LBR6132EQ1 Sn.CJ 1001950

    no motor action on this machine.
    pull timer knob out and all you get is a low humming noise.
    sounds like the moter is trying to kick in.
    i noticed there is a capacitor on the side of the motor but cant seem to find a part number for it.
    do they often go ,or is it more likely to be the motor?
    does the motor come complete with the capacitor or is it a seperate unit?
    any advise much appreciated.

    Hi John,

    You can get the capacitor as spare part:

    481912118185 – £10.50 @ Masterpart

    Id check the pump hasnt jammed or gear box seized first though as its unusual for capacitors to go pear shaped on toploaders.
