ParticipantHi guys.
The company I work for have recently taken on some work on Baumatic products & I was wondering if anyone can point me in the direction of any useful websites with part diagrams, part numbers, wiring diagrams etc.
Also, any general info, opinions, tricks & tips etc on their products would be apprieciated.
Cheers.

Such a variety of makes there, with dishwashers alone you could find a Smeg, Whirlpool, Merloni, Hairer (if youre really lucky) and Fagor. Baumatic just stick their name on whatever they get hold of.

You`ll also find many Baumatic badged products are also badged by others I`ve seen Hotpoint D/w which are Baumatics and made by Whirlpool.
Don`t bother askin Baumatic for help, there guys are just as confused.
Anybody doin Baumatic work needs a huge level of cross brand experience to be any good or make any cash.
I`ve heard recalls on Baumatics are very high.

Strangely enough, I have been out to 2 Baumatic cookers this week a BT2531 SS Range and a B721BLA Double oven. Hinges for the first and a base element for the second. Not bad quality by the looks of it and reasonable prices for the parts. Who makes Baumatic Cookers?

Because baumatic were primarily a cooking product brand, some of the cookers and ovens were built independantly, under contract to baumatics own specification. I believe this to be the case with their current f/s cookers. They wont be made in a baumatic factory, because there isnt one, so it will have been made in one of the “contract” factories like vestelle etc. which… i couldnt tell you, but if you ask baumatic which country each cooker was manufactured you should be able to work it out!
PS regarding spares – ive found some baumatic spares are a rip-off, some are actually cheap. worked out the basic rule of thumb with them is if its a rebadged/generic stock appliance the spares are ridiculously expensive – i.e. £60+ for a fan element! this is because they are buying the spares off the factory, and sticking them in their own bag (although not always) and then adding their handling fee onto it. If you can, get the donor manufacturers spares as you are cutting out one of the middlemen! for their own spec appliances the spares are relatively cheap, as you have already found out

Would that be the Fagor appliances that are imported from China.
Some Baumatic Elements are cheaper than the Neff ones.
As both ovens are made by Stoves, who probably import from China as well.
A recent period ago Baumatic parts where slow in coming, as the ship containing the spares broke down.
Or rather they had no cash to buy them.
