Asko-built Maytag Washing Machine MSE9602AES (ASKO Type WM25.3)

    A technical query.
    To explain……
When the machine spins with anything other than a perfectly balanced load I’ve noticed an annoying “resonating” rattling sound which greatly adds to the noise of the already loud spin.
I’ve isolated it to the fact that the bellows pipe between the soap tray & the outer drum seems to be vibrating against the inside of the cabinet.

Can the experts here advise on a suitable insulation pad, (possibly foam or felt,) which could be stuck to the inside of the cabinet to ” damp” out these vibrations? i.e between the bellows pipe & the cabinet wall.
I’ve searched the Whitegoods shop but in vain.

What sound-deadening insulation materials, (if any,) do manufacturers normally use to reduce noise?

    Many thanks.

😆 I think you have answered your own question.
I would try aynt piece of foam you can lay your hands on and see if that helps.
