    No heat, element and stat on top of heater are OK. Although it is difficult to get at them to test I suspect the small microtemps have failed, not as easy to get at as the Hoover/Candy ones.

    Complete element assy is a staggering £110+

    Has anyone managed to break open this element assy and change the microtemps?

    does this dryer have thermostat above the door in the drum these are very prone to going if you stick your head in the drum it is situated at 12 o clock cant get the model number you posted to come up on tds

    No, its not a newish Zanussi type, its German made, The only stat I can see on TDS is the one over the heater plus the two small microtemps inside the element cover, different machine altogether to the one you are thinking of. 😉
