    I have a samsung sr-s2028las and the fault I am having is that everything works fine until it goes into defrost and fails to come back to cooling, but if you switch it off and switch back it works alright until it goes into defrost again.

    quite likely the defrost heater has gone open circuit

    Thanks for u help finally got round to buying the defrost heater and it solved the problem
