    WTL6102GB/02 reported not pumping water into tank rear channel was full have sucked out the rear with my vax and have tested pump for continuity ….. how the **** do you get the pump out have removed both belts and the spring and motor clamp there is not enough room to lift the pump out. is this a complete strip down motor out fans off job?

    It does come out Wilf…..have you taken the hose off the top ? The hose is a bit of a bugger to remove and refit but it will come off . Then its a case of wiggling the pump out…..once it is out , there is a very small channel at the back right hand corner where the water flows in from the rear sump area. This is prone to blocking and needs something fairly thin and flexible to clear it. I use an old coat hanger.

    thanks I’m going back Friday . Ididnt take the hose off as you said it looks aquward and I thought it would make no difference so didnt want to make more trouble for possibly no gain. I’ll see how I get on.
