    I was asked to look at a Whirlpool 3LEC8646KQ4 Tumble drier, it sometimes works but when it is stopped will not start again other times it swtches itself off in the mioddle of a programe, i was thinking it may be the push start relay, the only problem i cannot find any parts for this machine anywhere, can anybody help cheers JJ

    Should be an R in the model no I think.3RLEC8646.
    Door switch is worth a good look first !
    I have parts and diagrams if they are of any help.

    Sorry my mistake it is a 3RLEC8648KQ4 i have checked the door swith it tested okay, but still wouldnt start JJ

    I have the diagram and parts list for that number but with a different variant on the end.They are all very similar it probably refers to the facis.
    The relay is encompassed in the motor,much like the old servis washers years ago.
    Motor could be fluffed up causing problem also.

    Hi matey just replaced a motor on one of these!! was seizing up and cutting out? take a fan with you? they can be a swine to remove sometimes :rolls:
