    Hi,
have had a call on a Stoves cooker 058552079 (E2H666EMDOA), most of the 8 indicators for the knobs have slipped. Is it practical to stick these or will i have to order new parts.
    Thanks
    Graeme

    Re: Stoves cooker indicator disks

if this is the same as the ones i have in a local care home they are rubbish you have to change them and they are about £4 or 5 each

there is a ‘D’ shaped hole in the middle that wears and you will never successfully glue it and if you do you may make more probs for the future

have noticed some of the later ones they have reduced the diameter to reduce leverage but i await the next failure

They (sort of) fixed this problem with some adhesive washers with the D shaped hole in them which you stuck to the front of the indicator disc to strengthen them, didn’t work perfectly but was alot better than the disc alone.
