hi guys have to look at a creda1000 washing machine. that is making a noise probley bearings gone. is their much involved in changing the bearings on this machine. if the shaft is damaged would you have to fit a spider complete with bearings or are the not worth fixing.thanks fasetester.

Nice machines and well worth doing but spider and bearings needed, wouldn’t do without a spider. About 1h 15 and pretty easy. I charge £85 and check brushes too.

Thats assuming it is a Hotpoint WM based machine. There are some 1000 spin Creda machines that are not WM based.

What is the model number Fase?

You will be fine with that one, as robbra says, very straightforward.

It is based on a Hotpoint 95/WM series machine. I’m sure you will have done those already.

Should be able to get it from Qualtex but not sure of the part no. Had 2 on the van for about 2 years and used them both 2 weeks ago 😀
