    dishwasher was put on rinse and clogged up with grease and blocked drain, when trying to run cycle it trips mains when program selected and door closed, drain still blocked, removed water at the bottom of washer. any help on why its tripping, would there be water underneath

    Most likely is that the base is flooded, it sounds like it has overfilled which can happen when clogged up with grease and the like. isolate from mains and then take off the front panel at bottom. Be careful of the drip tray once removed its like a razor. If it is flooded dry it out and try it again, if you have removed the blockage it may be ok, if not motor hose is a likely culprit.

    Remember to unplug it!
