Cannot find the model on Connect but looking at diagram of CD242UK it looks like the p/sw tube might be running from the circulation pump outlet point ❓ . It’s a long shot, but if for some reason the motor were revolving in the wrong direction, I could imagine this would result.

Is it similar to this?
No conclusion as of yet but may be worth re-opening?

You’ll probably need a p/sw and a circ pump….

I had one of these doing the same ,I told the customer to go to hvr/candy and would they let me know the outcome .
You will love this …
He fitted pcb,motor,p/switch,door switch ,base float ,heater safety device and it still didn’t work ,she bought a new one in the end .
She had the impression that he wasn’t quite sure what it was …November 16, 2009 at 9:16 am #303638scots

Thanks for replies.. The clicking that you hear is def the heater protection switch (located at the rear base) , switching when the circ motor starts.
From what I see, it looks like it may be the board, although the motor fitted looks like the one fitted to the Whirlpool/Diplomat dishwashers and we all know how they fail!
Its just that the motor does start albeit breifly and why is it the inlet valve operate breifly?
Going to return to get product code, as there are 3 different modules.
Will let you knowBrian
