Our AC110 has a problem, when its in the wash cycle it washes as normal but when it comes to the reverse wash action it suddenly speeds up briefly then carries on as normal up the next reverse. Ive put some new brushes in but the problem still exists, its even thrown the belt off once. Its now developing a crack when it speeds up. My thoughts are that its the board at fault. Spin works as it should.
What do you guys reckon?

I think you should check the condition of the tacho magnet on the end of the motor and the resistance through the coil which surrounds it.
Power off first.
