How do you remove the door catch assembly from the Indesit integrated dishwasher (model DI 62) – mine is faulty/jammed and needs to be replaced but I cannot determine how to remove it.

You have got a tricky one there but to replace the Door Catch Assy (Pt No 018165) First isolate the supply, Remove Decor Panel and Lower Door Panel, then remove the Control Panel Fascia. The catch is clipped into position with lugs.
Lots of electrics and connectors stand in your way and unless you are a competent engineer I would not advice attempting such a job.
Leave it to us experts and call your local repair man!
