    What would be the result of replacing a K50 stat with a VS5 K54 stat on a Lec ER450AW fridge with 2 star icebox. Capillary end terminates on side of freezer compartment.

    freeze everything solid in fridge i suspect 😯 plump for a vc1 😉

    K54 or VS5 is a freezer stat with signal on rise. It will be looking for -20 degrees or so before it shuts off. Frozen milk……. 😕

    You need a VL1 stat for standard fridges with icebox. Avoid the cheap chinese ones though – or you’ll be doing the job twice…….. 😉
