    Hi,
    Can i express my thanks for the good advice regarding circuit board repairs to the Whirlpool American style fridge freezer. The advice saved me a shed load of cash.
    Just in case it helps anyone my 3 year old fridge freezer flashed all LED,s and the illumination lamp around the water/ice dispenser when dispensing ice. Also the ice dispenser motor was running slow.
    I bought a repair kit from white goods for the rear circuit board, and two capacitors from RS for the front circuit board. It was actually the front circuit board capacitors that were at fault.
    So far problem solved.

    hi sootyvandriver,
    i have a similar problem with the front board leds flashing 18 and 5 and a clicking.
    if possible can you let me know what value of capacitors you bought and where from a part number. also how did you get on fitting then. what about the fromt pcb fitting back into the front.
    any help or advice would be appreciated.
