Thats because it doesn’t appear to have one. 😕
Not seen one in the flesh but looking at the parts list etc it would appear that the probe used to control cooking temperatures is also used to control the fan. It could be this probe is faulty or it could be a fault on the electronic control PCB, it is made in Italy by Indesit after all. :rolls:
The probe is around £22 ex vat, the PCB is very expensive, over £100.
Perhaps one or two of the Indesit/Hotpoint lads will have a better idea.
EDIT. Reading a bit more it mentions a Cooling fan and cut in but I cannot see any sign of this ‘cut in’ in the parts list. ❓

As far as I can tell, the cut-in is integral with the cooling fan. The fan is powered at half speed by the electronics, then the cut-in ramps it up to full speed when the temperature in the oven rises.

That is the probe but as my friend and colleague P45 and myself have both found out, the cut in appears to be integral to the cooling fan, the probe is unlikely to be the source of your problem.

Do you think I should replace the cooling Fan?
Is this number 1 in the diagram. If so can give me a part number.
Thanks

Part number is C00138845.
As I have not actually seen one of these machines it would be difficult to advise you either way.
If I was presented with such a problem I would remove the cooling fan and examine it closely for any sign of an integral stat or ‘cut in’ device. If I did find one then I would attempt to test it when cold to see if it was closed circuit.
All with the mains isolated of course. 😉
