I am hoping this is not a post that has been answered before, I have searched several times.
I have a Whirlpool GDP DWI dishwasher, it has worked fine up until this morning. Loaded it first thing this morning and when I turned it on it made the usual pumping sound then started to make a continuous beep and the start lighgt was flashing. I reset the machine and tried again after several attempts it now sounds as if it is pumping but the beep is now intermitent. I have read that error codes are normally 1-7 this continuously flashes and continues to beep until it is turned off. I am hoping this is a simple problem and easy to fix.

Continuous flashing is F1 – ntc sensor. You’ll need THIS CHAPPIE. It’s sticking up in the sump and is a twist fit from underneath.

    Power off first.

    Re: Whirlpool continuous beep

All Whirpool dishwashers share the same error coding system.

Many thanks to Penguin45 my dishwasher is up and running again. He diagnosed the fault correctly and even told me the part, where to get it and how to fit it. Thanks once again.
