    Hotpoint WMT01 washer.

Machine fills, washes fine, heats up to the temperature set; then the drum speed increases to distribute speed for a couple of minutes. It does this and then returns to normal speed. The wash water is whipped into a froth and this fills the drum with suds. 😕 I’ve tried the electrical connections and swapped the motor. (original one had an insulation fault.) Otherwise everything works normally..
The problem still exists – any ideas??

    Steve.

I think you’ll find it’s behaving to specification, Steve.

Uhh?? I’ll have an ounce of whatever Helo is smoking! :snigger:

OK, so it’s fine then. After building 4 machines today, a fault was the last thing I needed to see…….. 8)

    Thanks guys,

    Steve.
