ISE AW23 and high water pressure.

I’ve had 2 machines with squeaking and crunching suspension. Left side (looking from the front) large single suspension unit found to be U/S. The base of the machine is flooded.

On inspection, the cause was traced to a leak around the grommet of the grey plastic vent hose where it fits into the rear of the soap drawer. The leak drips onto the tub, runs around and drops directly onto the suspension unit with the inevitable result. Three weeks later I’m having to change the machine for a different one as I can’t find a reason for the leak on visit, (as it didn’t leak) so I swapped it and the new replacement fails within a month. 😳
In conclusion, the water pressure in this property had been altered due to the water board flushing out the mains supply. When I delivered and fitted the original machine I noticed the water pressure was strong, but didn’t consider it to be a cause for concern as the old Bosch had been fine on the same plumbing. Turning the supply to the machine down solved the leak instantaneously.
It shouldn’t leak at the vent, but it does, so watch out for that, guys!!

Turning the tap down reduces flow not pressure and someone could turn it full on again.
One of these will fix the problem.
