    Hi guys do you know what the minimum resistance readings should be on set of windings for a washing machine motor?

    Brush motor? Surprisingly low – anywhere around 5 ohms through field and armature is typical – tacho circuit is usually rather higher.

    Cheers yes a brush motor im getting .8 of an ohm across one of the windings so I think new motor.
