    Hi guys,

    Above W/M Bearings are shot, Very noisy on spin and there is a bit of play up and down when you wiggle the inner drum, Can i just change the bearings & seal in the spider or will i need to change the inner drum shaft also? is there a way to tell?

    I don’t know of any way to be sure without dismantling. But if the play is small, then it’ll probably be OK. Not had to do many Bosch bearings but they’re usually owned by more careful owners who call you before it’s got too bad. Either that or the bearings just last longer.

    O.k thanks,
    On this machine can i remove the spider etc using the little teardrop shaped hole then bringing it out the top or am i best removing the drum?

    No just remove the rear support, you`ll get a pretty good view of the drum spider, they usually only require bearings and seal.
