    I have a Bosch washing machine, model number WAE24260GB/01, which is showing an error code E3. Bosch are being extremely unhelpful – does anyone know what this error code relates to?

    If you google bosch error code e3

    Error “E3” on a Bosch front loader means there is a problem with the door. Either it is not closed properly (user error or a blockage) or the locking mechanism has a fault. Check to see that there is no object shoved in the latch hole (our 2yo just did that) preventing the door from closing properly. If it is not that, a technician is advised.

    If you close the door and press start , can you hear the door ‘click’ to lock…or does the start light go from fllashing to solid but then you can still open the door ?

    If no click and you can open door after start has been pressed , i’d suggest its a faulty door lock.
