    Hiya I was wondering if anyone would know what could be wrong on my A1636, it has recently become very very noisy on spin, today i found a small puddle of dirty water on the floor at the front of the machine when it was in spin, I then stopped the machine and pulled it forward to find drips of dirty water which appear to come from the back of the machine (on the inside) and quite alot of grey powder residue on the floor 😯 I am thinking this is going to be an expensive job but was wondering if anyone has had similar happen that could give any hints on what it could be that needs replacing ?

    Concrete weight will have ripped off and has now battered a hole through the outer drum.

    Some of these Hotpoint based Ariston machines did come with the same five year parts warranty as all Hotpoint appliances.

    Well worth checking your paperwork. If it is under five years old then you may only have to pay the £99.85 labour charge.
