    Hi,
Our oven has stopped heating up. From what I’ve read a blown element seems the most likely cause (the fan and grill are still working fine).
The next problem is that I can’t find any identifying details on the oven – there’s no brand on the outside and the sticker with the model number etc on the inside seems to have gone missing.

The element has the following written on it:
    5333R732 IRCA 240V 2000W RL6 02476

Is that enough to identify the replacement part?

If so, please can you also advise on whether it is advisable to replace it myself or will I have to pay for an electrician to do the job?

    Thanks for your help.

    Doug

    Re: Oven Element

The very first thing to do after isolating from the mains is to actually test the element for continuity and resistance before ordering anything.

Is it a built in unit ? If so you might find some identification on the back or sides if you pull it out.
