I have a WWF1201GB/01 with a motor that refuses to turn in wash or spin mode. The brushes have been replaced and carbon dust in the motor blown away but still no joy.
I want to test the motor but don’t know what resistance values I should get, can any of you fine experts help with this info please.
The part No. on the motor is 3047801AB5 if that helps.
If anyone has any other ideas as to what the problem might be I’d appreciate your help.
Thanks.
Re: Bosch WWF1201- Motor not turning – help with testing pl
There are three circuits through the motor – armature, field coil and tacho circuit. Armature and field are the ones which run the motor and should read under 10 ohms. There is a thermal overload cut-out in-line with the brushes on teh armature circuit. If the old brushes were worn right down to the end, this may well have tripped out.
