    I bought a Smeg SUK61MPX5 60cm pyrolytic cooker from Sainsburys less than three years ago and noticed that the door didnt properly close. This was repaired under warranty by replacement of the hinge units.

    When the cooker was about 15 months old I used the pyrolytic function for the first time and after about 30 minutes into the cycle the inner door glass shattered. This was repaced (NOT under warranty) at a cost in excess of £115.

    I didnt use the pyrolytic function again until recently and about 30 minutes into the cycle (only the second time of pyrolytic use) the inner door glass again shattered requiring another repair (again NOT under warranty) at a cost of £115.

    Does anyone have any experience of this problem?
