    I changed one of THESE on an AEG oven less than 12 months ago.

    Customer reports same fault. Are these little blighters prone to failure?

    when I was this post I assumed it was going to be the fan cut in type, but that picture is just a thermal fuse by the look of it and must admit not fitting one to an AEG oven for years. So the answer, IME is no Jim!

    Just because customer reports same symptoms, doesn’t mean it’s the same fault. Probably find it’s the cooling fan thermostat this time.

    The last time it went the oven came on then cut out completely after 20 minutes, would the cooling fan stat cause that?

    Just checked back on my invoices from last February, it was the fan motor cut out I fitted. DOH. Senior moments seem to be coming thick and fast these days. :rolls: 😆
