    Looking for a supplier of captive nuts (U shaped) used on appliances, the slim type that clip over a hole.

    Have tried screwfix but they don’t stock them.
    Found some on ebay but I’m not paying £15.00 for 15.

    Any help gratefully received.

    I have found that when changing stats on refrigeration there are usually a couple in there just put them in my tool box and there when needed.

    I have tried looking but everyone is about £10 for 50ish. just do a online search for them.

    Halfords do them different sizes on there odds and sods stand

    ford dealers also keep them in stock pkts of 15 if i remeber from this afternoon

    i used to get these from rs components , cant remember the price, but if i bought them there they wouldn’t have been too dear :rolls:

    Found a company on ebay selling packs of 100 u nuts for £5 delivered.

    SPEED FASTENERS ‘U’ NUTS ZINC PLATED NO.6 QTY 100.

    I will post how good the quality is.
