ParticipantHi All,
Hoping someone might be able to help…
My flat has a Oven branded just “Cookers”, which seems to be particularly hard to find parts for, seeing as the name is impossible to search for online. We don’t have the manual or any access to the model number (it’s nowhere on the front, and we can’t tear apart the kitchen to check the sides.
We accidentally broke the outer glass of the door, and we’re looking for a replacement.
My brief investigation seems to have revealed that the Cookers brand is used by “Premium Appliance Brands Limited” but I don’t seem to be able to find a website for them.
Could anyone advise me if there’s any chance of being able to obtain replacement outer door glass? On this site there are some spare parts for Cookers ovens, but not any door glass…
Many thanks if anyone can help!
Best Wishes
Nick

Hi Nick,
I am afraid that Premium Appliance Brands are no longer in existence and the new company is called Appliance 365 Limited based in Warrington.
The service company that is handling spares for this brand is JTM Contracts Ltd.

Greaseater.

Aha – turns out the model number is accessible after all.
It’s Cookers 01-607100 Brown
Any possibility of getting replacement door glass for that?

Bugger.
Would there be any way of finding something that could work as a replacement? Eg getting some suitable glass cut to size? (60cm by 45cm)
Am terrified my landlord is going to try and charge me the whole cost of a replacement oven when I move out…

Nope, you can’t get anything to fit I’m afraid. It’s a special crystal glass and you’ve no chance of getting a bit cut.
Best bet, get a cheap or second hand oven and hope the landlord doesn’t notice it’s different. 😉

Is there a part number or something for it? Not quite ready to give up yet…

KeymasterYep,
Part number is 77X6904.
Made by Brandt several years ago who are well known for making parts obsolete quite quickly.
