ParticipantHi, first post so I’ve been saving up…..
Got my new AW23, plumbed in, plugged in and first empty wash done before unleashing it on the washing mountain.
It’s good. Located in the downstairs loo, it’s pretty quiet but puts in a performance on spin, probably due to the quarry tiles and suspended flooring. Doesn’t move, in fact it’s impressively stable, just the noise seems to come through the floor.
Easy to use, though I would have preferred a 30C main cotton wash as that’s where modern detergents seem to be aiming at now.
Anyway, I do have sensitive skin so was wondering how to set the default rinse to 5 rinses instead of 3 ?
And the tumble drier is a Beko condenser which we want to sit on top of the washing machine. Anyone any idea what stacking kit we can use ? The WPro ones don’t seem to suit, the universal is for 600 x 600 machines and the AW23 is 540 or so deep, the other kit is for square facia machines and the AW23 has a slightly curved frontage ?
Cheers

Suspended flooring will always make any, even the slightest vibrations resonate much louder than solid firm flooring. So that’s normal and to be expected.
On the stacking kit issue it’s often better to sit any make of condenser dryer onto it’s own solid framed counter top. That is to say fit MDF panels around the washing machine with a kitchen type counter top for the separated dryer to sit on. The advantage there is that both machines are totally independent and can be easily maintained should the need arise.
Just a thought.:D

It’s a strange enough setup having the plumbing in the downstairs loo in the first place (we just bought the house), think it might look even stranger with a kitchen unit in there !
I think I have the perfect solution. We have a room above the car port which is always cold, it could go in there and heat the room.
Sneaking suspicion when I get home and suggest that it won’t be warmly received so any other suggestions welcome….

Ah well I did offer an alternative that many adapt very successfully in confined spaces.
The Wpro can easily be ‘modified’ to fit any machine by the way. The 600×600 you mentioned can a altered to suit and very often won’t need to be I think you’ll find. Go for it….! 😉

You can’t actually change the default permanently. You select your wash programme then select the ‘Sensitive’ option button before you press the Start button to get five rinses.
I assume the three transit bolts have been removed before use. 😉

Just checking, I did hear of one ISE agent who forgot to remove them once. 😳
