hi guys i.m new to the site , ive been working on a de dietrich vz 9999u1 the initial problem was with the water not heating , so i ordered a new element (after checking the old one had no continuity) and fitted it , i turned on the washer for a quick wash and it started up and took in water did a quick rinse and stopped after about 10 mins. so i decided to do a full wash but low and behold nothing is happening , all the program buttons are working fine and the start light comes on but when the door closes the light goes out and no cycle starts i am finding it impossible to get any info on the net about this brand and ive gone through the diagnostic in the schematics the only thing i can see is the salt light is flashing on and off ?? any one got any ideas i would be grateful thanks in advance 😥

That model is a Fagor-build; commonest reason for no-start is water in the tray under the machine operating the flood protection system.

You can do a basic observation through the front lower access panel – anything more and it’ll have to come out.
