Hmm – sounds somewhat opportunistic – he’s down Martin’s neck of the woods, so he might have some info in the morning.
Graham Dixon if you want to do it properly, of course.

Scandalous! I’ve reported to eBay as it breaches their listing policies. They only allow goods to be sold, not services.

I was looking for courses a few years ago and came across the same bloke . After two `phone calls his major pitch seemed to be repairing white goods was a license to print money .
…….. and get away with anything !! I decided to give it a miss , not for financial reasons – just came across as a cowboy / tosser .Luckily Mr. Dixon came to the rescue . 🙂

ParticipantSad really, alot of people are desperate at the moment with the recession, jobs that claim “get rich in a week”, ultimately lead to more misery.

Given the position of UKW in normal searches, perhaps it may be an idea to write up an article about what we, as a trade, recognise as being pukka training in the industry.
Obviously there’s Graham’s course which is very good as a foundation to get into it, but there’s also manufacturer run training as well and some college courses too.
It’d be nice to compile a list that people could trust as being recognised within the industry.
A nice side effect is that it might shut people like this down. With any luck.

If you can’t beat ’em, join ’em. Let’s all go set up round Gosport way 😆 .
In the early nineties, I worked for a short time as a trainer not so very far from there for an outfit that got clients through an ad in the Sun. It was well paid and the clients went home happy and full of confidence after three days. Even had the DSS sending a few on the course! It went bust when the paper pulled the ad ’cause they hadn’t been paid. The boss had spent it all on a Jag.

Yes I spotted it 18 months back HERE
Back then Simon was selling his business, now it appears he’s come up with a more profitable plan to the unsuspecting Ebay’er? :rolls:
