Whirlpool ADG 7460

Any help please ?. On any cycle it does it’s initial drain,fills,then drains again and gives four beeps as if it’s finished !.Tricked it into thinking door was closed by flicking the door latch,watched it fill from hole in left side of sump,a small trickle also came from the thing that looks like a plug hole a few inches up on the left hand side panel.No flashing lights,just the four beeps as if it’s finished,any ideas anyone ?.
