Hopefully some of you guys in here can help
We have had a whirlpool condenser dryer since it was launched on the market (i have no idea how old it is) and up until now it has been fine but recently it has started making a very loud intermittent rattling noise
We tracked the noise down to the front bottom right of the dryer, looking through where the condenser sits it looks like a squirrel cage fan is sat there so I can only assume it is that rattling. I can only really see part of the fan so cannt see if anything is stuck behind it but it looks to turn freely and judging by the sheer amount of air spat out the front of the dryer when i ran it without the condenser i can only assume it is moving air correctly
Worst case senario is the fan has had it but what could i start looking for/how easy is it to get to the fan as it seems a shame to let the dryer keep rattling until it eventually packs up when it coudl be a simple thing to fix
