Hi, I have an 18 month old freezer which the tempreture seems to go much higher than the set at 16. Now the display is flashing and clicking, could somebody please tell me is this could be repaired by myself as a DIY or would I really need an experienced engineer to fix this.

Also does anybody know what the fault might be.

    thank you in advance. Gerald

Sounds like the pcb has left the building…….. Last price I could find was £105 plus the usual – an email to spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk would get things moving for you.

You really need an engineer to test for faults first,an earth fault/short circuit could have caused board failure so putting another one on without a check could be expensive !

Thanks for the advice, sounds not like a job as an amatuer could do then.
