CSM CONTRACTS LIMITED
BOLTONHi, been asked to do some work for the above company. I have initially agreed but always like to check out potential customers. A property management company with 17k properties under their control – apparently.
On checking, website is “under construction”. 😯 Not a good sign.
Couple of other things that ring bells, a. didn’t ask if I had public liability cover and b. there are other repairers closer to the job.
Am I just being too cynical in my old age 🙁 ❓ ❓

I waited 5 mths for payment ,eventually told by there “new”finance director that there had been a problem with the prev person embezilling funds .
We threatened county court ,they said don’t be silly ,we said try us cheque arrived 3 days later 2nd class .
now wont do work other than on a COD basis .

In a sticky situation now. I was just about to ring the tenant again (she was out last night) when I tought I’d check for updates. Not 100{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} sure I’ve got an element to fit it after the usual Xmas rush. It’s a Belling oven and not the large flexi one but 082619738 or ARD524011800.
I’m just going to ring around see if I can get one. If not tough but if I can, I’m going to ask for “fasterpayment” direct into bank account and boss at home can check it for me.

PS I did some more re-search last night on companies house website. Company is listed as “Maintenace and repair of motors”. 😯 😯

it was apparently on behalf of a large supermarket in the area that was buying up property.

Jason Mellor is your man 01204 495931 – he will talk “£$t about why they have not paid. Better still I had a better response from Chris Bailey in the end. You’ll get all the excuses “we never received your invoice” despite read receipt…blah blah

Estimating@CSm-services.co.ukRing again, be polite but firm, re-send invoices to all e-mail addresses – took me about a month, I think they had had enough of me.
After the final call they paid it directly into my business account via faster payment. Don’t wait for a cheque!!!I only did the job ‘cus it was Christmas the Chrimbo dinner and all that. When I got there I’d been the 4th person to try and fix a simple fan element fault ….. Two plumbing companies and a sparky had all failed in the 3 weeks before me.. probably ‘cus it wasn’t that a common element and both the trade suppliers locally did not have any in stock.

Been called a few times to do work for this lot. Everytime I give them my email address to send details of the call and their contact details for invoicing, but I never get the email. Funny that 😕
