Our machine has been playing up recently and has thrown up F17 & F18 errors. It seems to be pumping out water ok and there is nothing in the pump filter thing (bottom right corner).

If you have just done a wash cycle thena spin cycle so the clothes are damp then put it on a dry cycle the clothes become very wet.

Please help we seem to have an awful track record with appliances I think my missus is secretly breaking them.

Condenser valve should trickle in about 1/pt of water per minute. It’s not unknown for the flow restrictor to fall out of the valve outlet and Whoosh! – loads of water running in instead of the trickle.

    Hi,

Thanks for that :), is this something I can check or sort out myself or does the valve need replacing?

    Cheers

it is if you take your time, and be careful

    plug out, top off

the cold valve is siutuated at the top.. follow the pipe that goes to the dryer condenser

the restrictor should be in the neck of the valve.. if not, it will have made its way into the pipe, try and find it and refit it, by pushing it back into the valve

Ok I have the lid off and I can see three what I assume to be electronic valves, two of them go to the detergent dispenser and the third one has a smaller tube which goes to a small white plastic box which has a larger tube coming out of it going to the condenser. Do I need to check the small tube at the end that connects to the valve to see if there is anything inside it?
