    Hi

    Having issues with draining a Smeg 1612c

    Have removed hose and pump, hose clear
    put mains supply to the pump, but it is slow turning is this NORMAL ?

    1,400 rpm is about right.

    1400 RPM its not going that fast i’m sure

    Is it possible that a pump would slow down ?
    Deteriation of windings !

    Or do they usually just fail ?

    They just get old and tired.
