    Alex, Its been done on a local level ,with direct approaches from D.Parker. John Sizers doing HU p/codes. Brian Hudsons doing some but not a lot, I’ve heard John Gurney, Roger Urqharts lad, and a couple of welsh centres are doing it.
    I know DP’s been to see Stewart at Hayward Homes and started at offering 30.00 a call ( same with Steve Edwards) Its not a rumour Ken its true.( Not that there doing it at that rate). But which 1 man band suckers are, is what worries me.
    The true colours are already showing from CDSL ( brings back memories of being brow beaten from Mastercare ). When are you going back to this customer, (engineer only called an hour ago). Why havn’t you ordered parts yet for this customer,( engineer only called day b4 and this call was as 9.30 the day after). Didnt get this grief from NESN. If my personal suspicions are right, I feel sorry for them that are doing the work. (not that I would say no to it).

    This really puts you in a shit position. The only thing that may come in is if there is no coverage, you may pick up the odd pay & claim. Can’t see it happening though.

    D.Parker cannot approach the service force to cover your area for obvious reasons.

    If they came to me I’d tell them to piss off, but I would look at it 1st. just to string the buggers along. I remember the Mastercare days from Nottingham as well. I don’t want to go back to that again, Iv’e still got the stock to prove it.

    The only way I will do C/Plan is either direct to DSG, with it all being set up by S.F. Slough or pay & claim through the customer.

    Doesn’t help you though.

    Hmmm, well if they’re offering £30 a call all I can say is that anyone that takes it like at that money wants their head reading! Idiots, just idiots.

    Regardless of NESN’s position on it the only people that can force the rates up are us by demanding it in the end, so arseholes that take work at rates like that I have no time for.
