    The machine part fill then stops water level not up to element
    element works ok
    think its the pressure switch any other ideas

    If it fills, stops filling and puts the heater on, the pressure system is working, surely?

    Sounds more like a circulation issue.

    the water only part fills the machine it does not reach the element
    but the heater comes on

    Correct……. Circulation throws water on the heater.
