Can anyone advise of the meaning for the following error code – ‘flashing on/off’ and ‘flashing time delay’ – not adverse to fixing it – got heat, pump working, door appears sealed and drum rotating, no fluff and dust (cleaned out) and condenser and filters all clean – searched these forums and internet without finding the definition

Not good news, fault is F08. Static heater relay welded closed.
Main PCB faulty. At least three different modules and 7 or 8 smart card alternatives.
Identifying the correct one is a nightmare, you would also need a £70 to £90 smart card reader to program the PCB with the smart card.
As far as I am aware the people like QER & EMW do not repair tumble dryer modules.
Full serial number and commercial code needed to (hopefully) ID the correct parts.
last time i spoke to tony he told me they could now repair them
a nightmare all the same, a poor quality dryer with plenty of faults
cut your losses and buy a zanussi
