My Firenzi FIDW42 is not heating up water. Originally, it failed to heat on the 65 C cycle but it still worked at 50 C. Now it doesn’t heat on either cycle.
I assume it’s a faulty heating element. Does anyone know where this is and how to get access to it?
    Many thanks.

It’s a Zanussi in a dress. Heater is most easily accessed by removing the r/h side panel and the rear cover panel. Check for burnt-out wiring; resistance through the heater should be c. 25 ohms.

Most likely candidate is a burnt-out solder joint on the pcb.

Stay safe – power off if you intend to deal with this yourself.

Thanks for your help. Is the circuit board near the element?
